Dr. Yono, a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN), practices general neurology with fellowship trained specialization in clinical neurophysiology.
Dr. Yono enjoys the challenging nature of neurology. She is particularly interested in headache and multiple sclerosis. She also takes a special interest in epilepsy, EEG and EMG procedures, Botulinum toxin therapy, muscle diseases, and peripheral neuropathy. She is highly trained in performing nerve conduction studies and EMGs, and in interpreting EEGs. She has authored several publications and had multiple medical presentations which have appeared in medical journals. Her patients love her nice demeanor and appreciate her knowledge and dedication towards them.
When she isn’t seeing patients, Dr. Yono enjoys listening to different types of music, and she appreciates cultural dances. Singing is one of her hobbies since childhood. Dr. Yono has two sons, and spending time with them and her husband in the outdoors is an important weekend activity that she tries to keep.
